About usGetting the start of life right

Emotional support through the whole family planning and transitioning journey into parenthood. We see, listen and bring people together.

About

Omaia is building a new kind of personalised health experience, starting with the family-building journey. Omaia Sense, our first product, understands each person’s context and turns trusted expert knowledge into relevant emotional and practical support, for them and the one they trust. It does not replace clinical care.

Why we exist, and where we are heading

Emotional wellbeing shapes the whole pregnancy journey. We exist to make it a designed-in part of maternity care rather than something families are left to manage alone.

Our vision is a maternity pathway where psychological support is continuous, expected, and available to every expectant family — regardless of where they live or what they can pay.

The whole journey, the whole family

Omaia is built for the whole arc — fertility and conception, pregnancy, birth preparation, and the postpartum period — rather than a single episode.

Partners and co-parents are designed for, not appended.

What we do, and what we do not

We give expectant families structured, evidence-informed wellbeing support across the whole pregnancy journey: self-directed tools for the everyday ordinary fear and worry — psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioural exercises and reflection practices — built with midwives and psychologists.

Families reach us through the clinics, insurers and employers they already trust. Omaia is a Swedish pregnancy wellbeing company. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace care.

Founder story

Nina’s story

Founding Omaia was a necessity born from lived experience within a fractured maternal health system.

During my daughter’s birth, I knew something was wrong, but the system moved too slowly. I lost my daughter, and nearly my own life.

Omaia exists to close the gap between clinical success and maternal safety, treating intuition as a vital sign and ensuring no family faces an avoidable tragedy alone.
